MLB Thread - 2022

Go back in time three years: Is there a single person on the planet that expected this of Gabe Kapler?

I’m listening to his postgame, just so much good stuff.
Farhan did. Those dodger bro hugs carried the day when SF media was questioning Kepler’s capabilities and his handling of assault allegations. Sometimes hires hit, sometimes they don’t, but bro hugs usually win.

Hall of Famer
I expected an exclusively analytic robot man. Someone who managed strictly from the spreadsheet… Which is what we got in that shortened first season, but he’s quickly grown into a mix of actually game/gut-managing like Bochy used to, with his analytic past.

Listening to him talk today after the game was a treat to, he lit up when talking about Slater replacing Joc late and coming through. I felt it, you know the players feel the love too.

Wilmer Flores has 4 RBIs and the A's are batting Tony Kemp in the leadoff spot as their DH today? Is it too late to petition MLB to rescind that universal DH rule?

Kervin strikes out the side in his debut. Was a surprise he didn't make the team, but I really like his stuff. Just a matter if he can keep the BB's under control, which have been causing some issues this Spring and his start in the minors.
