Fox currently has ten points on 4-7 shooting and Tyrese has been okay-ish. Thought that Davion actually had his worst half of the season, nice end of half defensive possession against Booker excluded.

I'm referring to the fact that 3 1/2 games into the season, only Davion is getting done. (Not his best work tonight, obviously.) Okay-ish at very best for Tyrese in this game. Defense matters.

Barnes said that defense starts with energy, and we haven't shown energy. WHY THE HELL NOT??? They have had plenty of rest. So why no energy? Are they looking for a coaching change already?

And once and for all, put it to bed, modern NBA defense is a switch defense based on versatilitiy. PERIOD. No questions, no illusions, no conversations. Get with the program or get left behind. That said, let Davion be Davion. Monte, Luke. Do what Bobby did and you might be good enough to not get destroyed by these true small ballers and actually make it a tough go for anyone trying to dribble against you. Attempting to play positional defense with teams bigger and longer is stupid. The Kings will 99% of the time be quicker and more pesky, do that and see what happens.
