[Game] Kings @ Pistons, 2/26/21, 5pm PST 8pm EST

Detroit has like one twentieth our talent level, win or loss even short handed this is completely unacceptable.
New day, same problems in a lot of ways. Look at the types of players they're running. That is the definition of the modern game although their shooting is suspect. They have an athletic PG blowing by Cory. They have a young beast of a center and flank it with 6'8" athletes. Back the other way against teams like this they'll throw 4 G's. LOL. It's a joke.

Jackson waltzes straight into the paint with zero resistance.

Buddy tries to do the same thing and two Pistons throw the shot right back into his face.

Sigh....

Another one of those subtle things as a GM. I would never try and build value back into a player like Bjelica after tanking him that hard but if I saw my coach put him in this late in a game after sitting that long and after a string of a few games that would require a discussion. Great way to watch somebody pull or tear something. There is no likely trade for him anyway but that would seal the deal on it.

Speaking of guys who aren’t NBA players, welcome into the game New JJ.
He's got to go overseas. He can be a decent defensive role player and those types are a relic in the modern NBA game while they still kind of matter there. You have to be able to either shoot or run pick and roll if you aren't a big man. Period.

The talent depth on this team is THIN. Lose just one of the top 6 players and they turn into the worst team in the league.
Who the Kings? No, it should not be that way. After getting whipped like a dog this should have been a blowout even if you were down 3 starters. The fire is gone. Whatever there was to begin with.

How many lasagnas is a 10 game losing streak worth?
A lot Slaberino, a lot. And to cheer you and everybody up, I have a little story for you. There's a little hole in the wall cash only hot dog restaurant run by an old Italian guy in my area and it's absolutely delicious. It's a tiny little place crammed with decorations and pictures of Frank Sinatra, James Dean, Pavarotti, and a Good Fellas poster on the wall. And we're talking gourmet hot dogs. He has a few other items on the menu too. Yes, lasagna, but didn't get that tonight. Instead I got this delicious mussels and Italian sausage dish. This guy used to run a supper club in the 70s and 80s in a fly fishing town in Montana and people from all over the world would come there, a crowd known as "world fly fishermen". An Italian family came through one time and shared this recipe with him. I'm four bites in, and it's absolutely phenomenal.

I wish Ty’s jump suit had the scientific names next to the plants for easier identification. Way over this amateur’s head.

Vinny, I thought you were 4 bites in a couple hours ago in another thread. Did I dream that?
