People said Haliburton’s ceiling would be an elite role player but the dude is out here dominating and Luka is proving you don’t need to be an elite athlete to be a star in the modern league.
THAT was fun. THAT is entertainment and a welcome distraction. Even with ridiculous games from White Lavine we played hard and made big plays to pull it off. Haliburton is the player this franchise and the fan base deserves. Congratulations us!
Without Haliburton Kings would be lost and I would be uninterested watching team probably struggle too much. Amazing 4Q with BIG 15pts and overall dynamic play both ends by the rook.

It's especially impressive that Tyrese has done all this in the 4th quarter with the game on the line after getting nearly blanked from the field before that. At no point did he look rattled that his shots weren't dropping and then he turned it on and won this game for us. And it's only the 6th official game of his NBA career? Very impressive.
He shouldn't have dropped to 12 but also he's not super comfortable creating his own offense and doesn't have a true scorers type of game. He has a good stroke and a step back though so when you couple that with being able to run pnr role you aren't a liability offensively from an individual standpoint in fact you can be very good. He found the right team and the right team found someone that can fit right into their future. Unfortunately Bagley and him aren't getting a ton of minutes to develop a game. They could be a seamless fit from the looks of what we saw tonight.
shooting the ball with that much muscle feels like you're shooting it with one of those miniature sized nerf balls so it's no wonder he has that set shot
