Carmichael Dave and "the sky is falling" crowd about the TWolves game

Well the pompous thing to say would be: I tend to know how to use twitter fairly well

But instead I will just point out that you’re obviously not familiar with the Spongebob method of mocking people you think are being silly. Look it up. That will explain the mismatched caps
I am not referring to the spongebob meme. I mean things like coming onto a forum because it was randomly brought up.

These people are trippin! :D

What was this, 3rd game in 4 nights? On the road, as a pace team, against Minny (who I believe are pretty solid at home). All signs pointed to an L...

... not that I expected such a blow out, but I don't mind Joerger giving the deep bench a look for most of this game. Outside of Buddy, the starters were doo doo.

Didn't catch the game but based on Joerger pulling his starters early for lack of effort and not having them return is a move I fully support. Every team has back to backs and that's not an excuse to not show up. I understand they are not robots and do need rest too, especially with the pace they play so maybe this was also a rest game for his starters after seeing they just don't have it in them for this one.

I’m not so sure it was really a punishment, but instead making the quick realization that they were not going to have it tonight.

Sad that twitter itself, complaining on twitter, trolling on twitter, etc. is basically a hobby for people these days.

If the internet broke tomorrow we'd be better for it in the long run.

ITS A MELTDOWN I SAY!!!!!

A MELLLLLTTTTDOWWWNNNNN
The whole thesis about you having a "meltdown" appears to be based on the belief that, once you attain a certain "status" on Twitter, that you should be "above" trolling/mocking people who are showing their whole ass in your mentions.

A belief which, in my opinion, is absolute bollocks.

What happened to this place.

Bring back the grade threads.
Those of us who didn't bail during the worst of times stuck around and kept it alive.

If you want to put in the time and effort necessary to produce the quality of grade thread Bricklayer used to do, feel free.

Agreed. Coach Popovich has done it many times when he has so many games all in a few days. The only difference is that Pop would bench his starters before the game even started.

Coach Joeger let the guys get on the court and once he saw enough, he knew the starters legs were burnt and he didn’t want to kill their legs. So, he went to the bench and stayed with them. I’m pretty sure he had decided before the game that he would let the starters play the first quarter and if they looked done, he was going to pull them.

He basically sacrificed one game for the good of the starters and to save them for the rest of the season.

Brick went Shawn Michaels and lost his smile.
Don't put that on one poster: nobody's stopping you, @rainmaker or anyone else from creating a [Grades] thread themselves. Alternatively, if it was something that only one person could do, and/or too much work for you to do yourself, a different tactic might be to appreciate what you had, rather than throw shade the person who gave it to you, just because you don't have it any more.

You get it 100%. It would be almost condescending for me not to

First of all it was a joke, hence the Shawn Michaels reference. The grade threads were cool but they're a lot of work and took a real commitment from Brick and the others.

Second, how many times do you plan on typing "throw shade" and "clap back" tonight? You auditioning for a job as a writer at Yahoo?

Don't mix me up with someone throwing shade. I contributed much time to write ups.

Perhaps that attitude is why those who took the time to participate are rarely active nowadays.

I can't imagine this being the last time he may pull something like this, especially if they have another 4 in 5 nights type of schedule or numerous back to backs, which they clearly don't succeed in.

I'm fine with Joeger resting the starters and getting others some burn. It's a long season. We will now be in a better position to beat the next few teams, especially considering the main weapon we have against other teams is by running them out of the gym.
