Not a bad pickup, but trying to fit all of these players into the rotation will have this ending up no different than previous years with the exception of there being no pick at the end of this rainbow.
F the pick!
I know the pick is sacred to some of you. But we’ve stockpiled ourselves with young talent and now it’s time to fly and leave the nest behind, dammit. So just F the pick. Get up and fly!

Meh. The 2019 draft isn't exactly shaping up to be a spectacular class so while we may be missing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, it's a very small pot with a hole on the bottom.

Another solid signing. Bjelica has more to his game than he's shown so far, so he should be a productive player for us. I also like that Vlade is keeping the contracts short so we still have flexibility going forward.

Gluttony of bigs though, at least one or two need to be traded. I know WCS is the whipping boy at the moment, but I'd keep him for this year if possible, unless we get something good back. He put up 13/7/2/1 last year in 28mpg, that is not nearly as bad as people are making out. He's also still pretty young, and with his defensive potential, I don't want to give up on him just yet. I think he gets a hard time here. I get why, but bigs can take a while to really blossom. I'd look to move Koufos and Randolph before him.
Why? If Davis goes to make roster room we Have 6 bigs 3 PF 3 C. That not a Gluttony, is a perfect 3 man deep for Each Position
The 4 young bigs Bagley, Skal at PF WCS,Giles are our Future
KK and Zbo are the 3rd C and PF and will be mentors, injury Protection at least to Feb or gone at end of season
That is why its a 15 man roster Starter,Bench,Depth

Seems like a really cool dude. Here is his interview after the headlock

Very interesting interview. If you read between the lines, Bjelica could have demolished Afflalo if he so desired. It could have been a Kermit Washington type of situation. Bjelica obviously has no problem being physical during the games in an appropriate way. With the exception of Kosta, the Kings have viewed physical contact as a way to get a communicable virus. I'm really looking forward to Bjelica bringing some physicallity to this young Kings team.

I appreciate that WCS could still turn it around, but there's no way that I trade Koufos ahead of him. You just don't trade a blue collar lunch-pail tough guy ahead of his opposite. That would be totally sending the wrong message.

How similar are Joe Ingles and Bjlecia? If Ingles is able to hold down the 3, then why not Bjlecia?
They aren't similar at all. I'm not sure why people keep comparing the two. Ingles is a true 3. Bjelica is a stretch 4 that can slide over to the 3 if need be.

Ingles is a fantastic point forward. He's the 3rd best SF assist man after Lebron and KD. Bjelica is a guy who can swing the ball around and can find the obvious open man but he isn't a true play maker like Ingles is. He will probably just be playing the same role Tolliver played when he was here.

At the begining of his career Bjelica Was point guard, he played first point guard for his team. After that in Fenerbahce He changed his role and in Minnesota He did not had chance to show what He knows as He was used for something else.

So I guarantee his playmaking skills are not worst than Ingles. Only problem with him playing all the time at SF is his defense, but even that was not that bad when he stepted in during that Jimmy injury for Twolwes.

Tolliver and Bjelica’s similarities begin and end with shooting. Tolliver was quite poor in all other areas of the game. That is not the case with Bjelica. I believe will get more minutes than most of you expect

I can guarantee you that with or without this guy, Kings are still going to guarantee Boston a Top 3 pick next year. If he fit the timeline of the other Kings on the roster. Ok. I can see it.
But, the guy will be 31 at the beginning of the season. 31.

Might as well let Bogi and Jackson man the 3 spot.
I dont know about top 3 but lottery pick prolly yeah (hopefully 9 or 10?). Jackson isnt a starter and Bogi is better at the 2 spot. Plus I think our bench with Bjelly is formidable now. Personally Id rather see some more success even if its only 3 to 5 more wins so the teams get more confidence. Lastly, its a team friendly contract still

Bjelica is better than Tolliver and a bit better rebounder and slightly better passer but he's not leaps and bounds above Tolliver and he certainly is no Joe Ingles.

I'm in agreement as to, we have enough young players on our team already, and probably don't need more, unless he happens to have star material written all over him. But the pick is also an asset that can be turned into many things, other than another young rookie. So for that reason, I'm on board with acquiring them if possible. I won't lose any sleep if we don't, but they can become important.

Yeah this year is the year to gain some momentum. Fox, Buddy, Bogi and Giles have to show the will be top tier players this year. If Skal and/or Jackson do something that’s a bonus.

My target is 35 Games. Prior to the free agent signings I thought we had no hope. Now I am cautiously optimistic.

Don't forget about the glimpses we've seen from Giles. The two of them could be ... intimidating? I can't remember ever saying that about a Kings duo before. :p

The pick is gone. Sunk cost. I don’t give a flying f how the optics look next year if it ends up being the 2nd pick or 10th. We gotta stop crying about it, accept the additional ridicule Vlade will get at next years draft regardless, and move on. I want to see the team next year be competitive, exciting, show promise, and hopefully win some games. This guy seems like he will help and is relatively low cost. It’s not imperative that the team we put out there next year is the same team that wins the championship is 2022 (....:p)
