Free Agency Thread - 2018

If vlade strikes out he needs to be fired. Sorry, he mortgaged our pick next year in hopes we would be a decent team and he failed. We have cap space nobody wants and a bunch of young guys who will leave when they finish their rookie contracts.
We aren't be going be amazing whether or not we make moves in FA. You are drastically overreacting and your expectations are way too high for who the Kings are able to attract. I appreciate your passion, but I think you need to take a step back and look at this objectively.

Are you saying he pulled an Iguodala? :p
Sorta but I'm guessing it has more to do with roster moves than money for Bron. For one thing supposedly KCP and Bron share the same agent. I'm also guessing they will allow him "input" into who is moveable for Leonard.

Hate to break it to you, but there is not much to sell when player has New York on one side and city of Sacramento on the other.. I guess they could sell Hezonja double the money, but it would not be worth it..

At first thats what I was thinking. But then maybe they just don't think he's worth even that much. We will find out next season if vlade and co made the right decision or not.
I'd guess they wanted him for 2 or 3 years around 8 but with a team option and Hezonja thinks he can make more money in the future on a one year deal with the right team?

It’s been two days, and we are no further from my endgame of Capela/Nurkic/Porter/ or someone of that caliber (whether you disagree with my desire)

The market, except for Atlanta doesn’t appear to have cap and be in need of a center. Atlanta is rebuilding and may opt to take on money instead of go that route

The Rockets/Blazers are going to wait for them to sign an offer sheets

I put a suggestion with logic and reasoning.
Who do u propose? Wheres ur reasoning?

Easy to crap on ideas.
I actually like Bradley as a player but he doesn't fit our sf need. He's like 6'2 so it's not like he can guard big wings. We have gt as our smaller wing defender and in a pinch have put him on small forwards. Similar argument for lavine. At this point in fine with who ever is left at sf. Someone hopefully more consistent than jj. Hood, Anderson, Parker or a salary dump plus assets.

I am Suggesting bradley as a back-up guard (not a sf). Im looking at bradley as a backup pg but really fox and bogi as main facilitators.

I want to see some defensive improvements. Year after year we have horrible perimeter defense amd no, bradley will not make it all better, but a step in the rigjt direction is what i would personally love to see.

What other "solid" perimeter defenders are out there for sf and backup pg?

Everyone has their opinion
My suggestions are bradley and mbah a moute (and yes i remember the whole knee/physical ordeal)

You'd have one shooter, one mediocre shooter and three bad shooters starting together. There would be no room for the big men to operate and you'd be hearing "clank, clank, clank" from the outside all game long.
In a couple of years I'd have four good 3 point shooters (Fox, Giles, Bagley and Gordon) and one very good outside shooter (Bogs) with another very good shooter (Hield) coming off the bench. That's plenty good enough when you have that kind of athleticism on the floor.
