Not the result I was hoping for at the end of the day, but I can't frown over the effort. Well played contest from start to finish (well, for the most part). Someone, however, forgot to tell the dudes to guard the three-point line. Well, at least when KCP has the ball. But, then, maybe he just had the hot hand, and sticking some hands up in front of his face wouldn't have done much damage after all. Who knows?
The kids were, well, the kids. And the vets were, well, the vets. Kids played well. Vets played not so well. Oh, and has anyone mentioned how special of a kid Bogdan Bogdanovic is, yet?
Oh yeah, Buckets Freaking Buddy. We can't forget about Buckets...Buckets had himself a nice game as well. and so did WCS. Fox was solid (he had that nice bucket late in the game that was, well, crazy ridiculous...).
Temple? Temple? Garrett Temple? Are you in attendance? Please stand up, raise your hand, and make your presence known if you are.
No one likes it when the Fake Show beat us. I wish we can go undefeated against the Fake Show for the duration of the existence of this wonderful planet we all live on called Earth. I really do. However, all things considered, I'll live with this loss. Because we showed effort out there. If this were a blowout, obviously things would be a little different. But, at least we didn't let a team who, at the end of the day, is most likely worse off moving forward than we are, come into our house and lay the smack down on our candy.......(If you smell what the Rock is cookin'....)
. The future is looking bright, Kings fans. Hang on, cuz the ride's about to get a little wild(er)...
