The Kings get done in Miami and they'll fly out to San Antonio, where they'll be able to get some rest and get in a couple of practices before they face the Spurs on Sunday.
The former King most likely to light us up like a Christmas tree is none other than Hassan Whiteside. It took him quite a while to find his niche, but he has found a home in Miami. Anybody who wants to bemoan the fact we waived him in 2012 needs to look at what he did afterwards before settling in Miami. The one lesson to be learned is that it might take a LONG time for a big to come into his own.
According to the current injury reports, both Goran Dragic and Tyler Johnson are listed as game-time decisions. On the Kings, Fox (abdomen) and Randolph (ankle) are also listed GTD. I'm just a bit curious about Randolph's ankle unless perhaps he did something to it in anger when he found out a clerical error left out of Tuesday's game. (I'm just being cynical here...as far as I know or have heard, there was no such incident.)
I confess to not watching the Heat at all this year so I've got no idea if there's anybody with funky hair or weird tattoos or anything else to amuse me if the game goes awry. One good thing? It's an early game so I won't miss Grey's Anatomy.
GO KINGS!!
