Last year you could count on cuz for 20-30 pts Rudy for 15-20 and collison or rondo for 12-17 after that we don't have a 4th starter that you count on for 8-12. I think we can pencil in afflalo for 10-15 with better defense. If we can get 65 out of those 4. I think Lawson, Ben, kosta, Barnes, omri, tolliver, temple WCS can get us 40-50

Lakers actually started playing some D in the 3rd and the Kings offense got lazy. On defense, they were letting LA get into the lane over and over. Team, overal, just slid into a bit of a cruise mode.

Wow. Russell has 29pts 7asts.....

Collison/Afflalo deciding they don't want to play D today.
My buddy is a Lakers fan (I know, I know.... I probably shouldn't be friends with him) and he's been braggin about D-Lo through the entire preseason. The kid might be the real deal.

Now, back to the matter at hand...

Beat LA!!!

Russell is going to be the next big thing at PG. He's a legit franchise player.

I love Russell, but I'm sad he's on the Lakers. Not sure if I should root for him or not..

I'm a bit unclear what would cause you to love that punk.

Nonetheless, the larger takeaway here is granted, the only two games I have actually got to watch have been against the Lakers, but this team continues to reek of solidity. Even when we sit people. Its very hard to see that as anything but an endorsement of the coaching staff. The names are similar, we patched up the kiddie-manned holes at SG and PF, but with unexciting names, and yet we feel...solid. We've got tons of vets doing their job, we're organized, we're playing together, we're getting universal buyin on defense. That is coaching.

Kobe did a good job of mentoring DLo on snitching and being an all around unlikeable douche (unless you're a Laker fan.)

Joerger's offense has been the biggest surprise for me. It's better and more fitting than what Karl was running. The assist numbers have been high about every game.

Russell is immature, and I actually sided with Byron Scott. However, Russell is a hell of a player. He has potential to be a superstar. I watched him at Ohio St, and he truly looked special.

Question Brick, what rotation do you think the Kings will go with? It feels like we have lots of solid guys on the team. We were without role players Lawson, Casspi, Temple, and Barnes...yet we looked very good with a Farmer, McLemore, Tolliver, and WCS.

I just can't think of lineups that would fit our team. There's just way too many combinations.

No offense to Ben..............but when he has 6asts in 1 game, you know that this offensive scheme is probably pretty good.

Speaking of Ben, weird game for him. In the first 3 games, he was looking for his offense and constantly trying to score. In this game, he looked as just another piece for our offense. He played good D too. Not sure why he wasn't on Russell more. Maybe practice reps for DC.

Collison has gotten a couple of steals just due to the Lakers being careless taking the ball up the court.
That is because of the attention to detail a good coach instills.

Our team was lazy last year. There aint such a thing as lazy under Joeger. When Joeg's sees any lack of effort he calls a timeout and corrects it. He's Michael Malone on roids cuz he knows offense as well. We got lucky. I just sure hope we can parlay it into keeping Rudy at a good price and attracting a quality free agent. Thats really all we need. A good, smart, dedicated coach and a big name pf or pg.
