Simmons will likely be best at PF in the NBA whereas Luwawu will play SG/SF

What doesn't make sense is that we entered the off season thinking the Kings were trying to win now.

-Rondo will walk apparently
-Traded veteran SG for 20 year old SG
-Drafted 19 year old 7'2 traditional Center

All moves of a team going in a new direction. Literally all that is needed now is Cousins trade.

But given that the Kings had WB4 in for a workout I'm trusting they know a lot more than me.

I had some hope with the Marco trade, but this franchise aversion to defensive oriented perimeter player continues. Just once I'd love it if we took a hint and picked up a two way player or god forbid a defensive specialist in the backcourt.

Pretty sure they think Malachi can be that guy. Solid athlete with good shooting stroke. Hoping Joerger can coach him into Courtney Lee probably.

The Papa pick has a chance to be a very good pick but we need backcourt guys.....I'm going to wait to see what trades we have lined up. I believe Koufos is gone, we are going to sign Anderson, maybe WcS has been traded for a top notch PG, have no idea. Maybe Bogdanovich comes over this year. I know we added a young, mobile big, added Bogdanovich, added Richardson and will add another piece here shortly. Got rid of Bellinelli which was amazing.

Only thing I can think of is that Vlade scouted this guy and wanted him bad and heard that we was going to be gone by 22...
This seems like the only logical reason to pick this guy at 13. The absolute only way this makes any sense at all.

How about taking Demetrius Jackson at 28. He could be a really good pick there and plays a position of need.
