Rondo is averaging 12 points, 12 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and a career best 37% from three point range and you think he's dogging it? He also leads the team in minutes played (by over 200 minutes) and minutes per game (19th in the league at 35.1) and has missed only 2 games this season. Maybe he's just hurt?
AND he's noticeably acting like a player/coach a lot of the time. But hey, he's still dogging it.

I also think this will be a very hard game without Rondo, he has been the one organizing each offensive posession, and the offense falls apart without him, due to our very prepared coaching staff and great dribble-drive offense. I expect Seth curry to get some minutes tonight

so curious to see who gets start at sg. You can tell Karl wanted to get Marco back in but couldn't with the win streak but he also just got rightfully called out for playing him so many minutes.

My guess? The stubborn old bastard goes with his boy

Its just one of those things with us: there is no credible alternative. We can ***** about Marco, but in the end until and unless we sign KMart, the "options" such as they are are Ben, who is just being miserable, 6'3" 200min out of the d-league Seth Curry, and James Anderson, in all his glory. Or our favorite Rondo/Collison pairing, which won't even be possible if Rondo doesn't go.

So yeah, you can complain about Marco, but there is no knockout punch argument about who else to play. Just hopes and speculations, which Karl himself may jsut as well have for career-long Marco to show up at some point.

Have they all played poorly? Sure but Marco has played far worse on both ends of the court than Ben and possibly curry. No reason he should be playing more minutes than those guys if we need to win now or them if we have conceded the season and need to win later.

As much as people have despised Ben, Marco has been that with a heaping pile of dog feces

Maybe Caron Butler will get playing time? Surely he is not that crusty yet
You know, I'd forgotten he was even on the team. It is a little odd that he can't crack the rotation at all considering he's a respected veteran and that's usually what George Karl likes. We gave him a player option for next season so it seems Vlade expected him to play more than he has. And it's not like he was awful when he did play either. I'm not sure what the rationale is.

I think it is very odd what we have done with Butler. He doesn't seem upset. He wanted a trade and we didn't trade him. ????????

You must have forgotten how he looked like he didn't belong on an NBA court, then.

He looked washed-up and fairly helpless out there, the majority of minutes.
I can only recall one game where he actually saw the floor for more than 1 or 2 minutes of garbage time and I didn't think he looked out of place, so I may have missed something. He's only played 86 minutes all season though so he's hardly had a chance to play his way out of the rotation. Also, that hasn't kept Marco off the floor. I feel like there must be something else. James Anderson has looked like he doesn't belong the last couple of times we put him in a game yet he's played 361 minutes. Curry is a d-league callup and he's played 260 minutes. As far as I know Caron hasn't been injured. Maybe he's just a casualty of George Karl's smallball guard-heavy rotation?

Cousins continues to be money from 3. Major kudos to George for bringing this development to the big guys game.
