Takes a real moron to turn the best center into a stretch 4. I'm embarrsess as a fan.

I figured the team would be out of sync for the first week, but this is pretty bad. Defensive rotations are confused and offense is awkward.

Still, game is in reach. Have to cut off the turnovers and not have Cousins not chilling at the 3pt line. It's kind of weird that Koufos has had more quality looking post-ups than Cousins has had.

Might as well let WCS try his hand at Blake since nobody else is having success. I know Cousins can give him problems, but not with foul trouble.

There was another post touch where he turned the ball over while attempting a pass out of the post. Despite that, DMC needs more post touches/mid range touches. So does Gay. They are both invisible today.

Blake instead shoots a lot of long twos...I believe Cousins was doing that a lot last two seasons and this half I've seen none of it. It's either a three or a pump fake drive to the basket for turnover or a foul on some occasion

It's less about individual defense and more about being able to stop that money play, where Paul gets the ball mid-range, posts up, then gets a screen from Blake. That play is pure money.

I attribute the defensive rotations to the horrible sub patterns. After first 5 min there hasn't been a 5 man unit on floor together more than 2 min

Clippers look like they have played together for four years, we look like a new team. Despite that and the terrible play we are only down 10. Need to make a run and get the crowd into it.

And this is most certainly connected to his frustrations. I've noticed before the start of last season, when they had better spacing, that when Cousins has no lanes inside to drive he gets extremely frustrated. Koufos and Rondo's defenders playing 8 feet or more off of them isn't helping much here. Should he be more mature about it? Sure, but Karl needs to realize he's partially responsible for it. If your system is drive and dish, I think have driving lanes is pretty important.

I don't claim to be arter tha Katl but.....
Gays strength is being bigger than most SF putting him on a bigger faster Griffin negates that. Forded him into tough shots and let's Griffin abuse him on the other hand.
