He's a reliable source of trade information because his sources leak it to him first. Same thing with the draft. Who does he possibly know in the Sacramento front office at this point who's giving him this information? Nobody. This whole 'Chicken Little' thing going on right now is exactly why he wrote the article and it's disgusting to me.

F this thread is depressing, what a cluster. There is only one way to come out of this with a sense of possible stability among the ownership group/front office/coach/players and that is to fire Karl.

VIVEK, please do as you say you do and fail, but fail fast. FIRE KARL! The value lost will be less than the value of empty seats in a new arena and losing a franchise player.

Remember how boring things were when Petrie and the Maloofs were in town? We would all be posting frantically during trade deadlines, drafts, etc. only to be disappointed beyond belief. This is certainly a lot more entertaining!

We're already seeing a big change. Vivek deferring to Vlade in the Amick article is HUGE. Vlade making it adamantly clear repeatedly that Cousins is not on the block is pretty definitive.

Cousins wants honesty. He wants stability. He wants players around who will want to win as badly as he does. We're undoing things the best we can. I truly believe there are more reasons to believe things will work than there are reasons to cover your head to protect it from pieces of falling sky.

we have two options

1) discredit the story (ideally with Karl at the forefront of this) reiterating that its no more then lies
2) fire Karl

at no point should trading demarcus even be considered. It is very important we get this sorted now. We can not afford to have a fractured relationship moving forward at all. If there is any truth to the story then Karl must go. If it is all lies then we must come out strongly and discredit this.

Lol so when it seems they actually got it right by hiring a reputable, HOF caliber coach....it actually may backfire on them in typical Kings fashion, if Woj's piece is to be be believed.
