On the one hand, the Kings face total humiliation against the Warriors if they don't play with maximum effort and efficiency. On the other hand, the Kings have no confidence in the coach, the system, or the organization. That's a bad, bad place to be in.
Sounds like we're winning this game!

I honestly don't believe the Warriors are THAT good of a team. If you take away their perimeter shooting, you will win. The problem is that no one knows how to take it away yet... It'll probably be a whole other story in the playoffs though.

Let's take a look at their starting 5
Curry-explosive shooter and scorer. Great PG skills and picks the ball on defense a lot
Klay-best 2 way player in the NBA. Dominant shooter and good defender
Barnes-3pt shooter who's a below average starter. Starting due to the fact that he can't do squat without creators
Green-3pt shooter who's an undersized PF. Good shooter from outside along with good hustle defense
Bogut-center who's there to clog up the paint against defenses. Good 1o1 defender and contests shots very well

If you take away their shooting, the Warriors will lose. 4/5 of their starters depend on shooting for offense. Contest them, and don't allow open jumpshots is the key to winning this game.

I really hope this is the game where Cousins finally dominates against Bogut. Bogut is probably Cousin's worst nightmare on offense.. he does a very good job against Cousins. I also hope this is the game where Collison limits the poop out of Curry. AND this should be the game where Ben finally steps up. Deny Klay the ball on offense and make him work for his shots. All I ask for is a win.. it's all I want..

Well, they're apparently good enough right now...
Yes they are. They're the best team in the NBA right now W/L column says it too, but I think if their shots don't fall, they won't win.

They've only lost 6 games this season, but I believe if the Kings play their A game without collapsing in the 4th quarter, this can be their 7th lost. Here's the kicker though... The kings need to play at snail pace.. We need to get the Warriors to play our type of game if we want to win tonight. Trying to match up with them is a recipe for failure.

And that is not going to happen, I fear. I would love to see the Kings play tough, pressure defense and work inside to Boogie all night. But unless there has been an epiphany on the front office in the last 24 hours or so, that's not gonna happen.

I will be interested if Vivek is at the game. There is a huge celebration in India starting tomorrow.
Vivek has been in Switzerland for an economic conference. He's been invited to go to India with POTUS. Somehow I don't think he's going to be at a Kings-Warriors game...but I could be wrong.

I will not melt down tonight. I will be patient and have faith. I will believe that the boys will hustle and the coaching will be sound.

I believe for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows...

And I will still try like Dave to maintain my dignity and not melt down. I too will have patience and faith. I will believe the Kings will hsutle and listen to the sound coaching principles of Coach Corbin.

He has to be there, its Vivek's favorite team in the NBA....

...And they're playing the team he just purchased at that!
