I've mentioned this before but look at the thread participation pre and post Malone. Sucked the life out of this fanbase.

Basketball-reference.com has come up with a VORP (Value Over Replacement Player) stat, but I don't have a good feel for it.

I have no idea how it is calculated, but demarcus is well outside the top 10, which means it is clearly an inferior stat. Curry leads the way at 8.1, let's say, VORPs. Cousins is at 1.7.

It might be a "counting stat", which would mean that Cousins' missed time would hurt him. I'm not sure about that.

No one is playing good tonight. Crp game. Wouldn't surprise me if the Kings actually had to start giving out tickets near the end of the season. No one wants to come out and see this crp product..even against a good team. Anytime we play the Warriors, 1/4 of the crowd are Warrior fans anyways. That's a start.

Looking deeper, it does have a %age of minutes played component. The stat it is derived from, BPM (Box Plus-Minus), does not. Cousins is at #9 in BPM, so it's at least remotely sensible. But I'd have to take a really close look before I'd fully endorse it. For one, I know Westbrook is good, but I don't see how he's more than double Cuz in BPM despite his really poor shooting percentages.

Meanwhile, great tip by Cousins.
