Way too much of this product is being put on the coaching situation. One thing the players can control is their effort on the floor and this team does well when all guys are getting after it.

This is ALL about the coaching debacle.
Did you hear DMC and R. Gay after the NY game? They are ticked off. They are confused. They don't know what they're suppose to be doing! You can't just throw guys out there and expect them to effort themselves to a win every night!

Team chemistry matters. These guys apparently respected Malone and bought into what he was trying to do. They wanted to play for him.

Then your GM/owner decide to fire the coach you like and respect for no good reason. The body language of the team ever since says it all. They look demoralized, confused, deflated. No one more so than DeMarcus, your star player.
