Corbin just got finished saying that the team got lulled into PHX pace. So this isn't a function of the Kings having no choice. This is a roster full of players knowing that the FO wants them to run and gun and the roster not being equipped for it. They tried to play like PHX and got burned. Tried to play like GSW and got burned (with Cousins). This same trash roster was winning games and competing in the beginning of the year. Even competing without Cuz.

I saw the game dude they were friggin terrible trying to play a half court game in the first and early 3rd quarter. Fact is they are just a terrible team without Cousins.

Remember they lost to Detroit without Cousins. Detroit sucks. Phoenix doesn;t suck.

Phoenix is actually a pretty good team. They should beat the Kings without Cousins and that's just what they did. Why is everybody acting like the Kings should have won this game? Phoenix is better end of story.

True but it would help if Cousins would stop getting sick. Ban that man from hanging around little kids and somebody wear some damn gloves when preparing is meals around town and make sure to bring his food up to temp.

Well it won't be George Karl. I think that he isn't in the picture. The coach will be Mullin. Mullin said he didn't want to be coach because he didn't have the off-season to get his staff together. So we leave Corbin as coach while Mullin tells him what style to run. I'm rather sure that's what is going on. People know the Kings are desperate for a change. We will have the disadvantage in most trades.

funny people think another coach is gonna be in place. mully will be the next coach. we're gonna run run run and make some moves for more derrick williams position-less players this summer.

I don't remember reading anyone saying the Kings should win without Cousins.
Yes, the Kings suck without Cousins and I'm on record as stating they would have a tough time beating ANYone in the NBA without him.

But the Game Thread is for airing of Kings' fans' disgruntled complaints, not for misrepresenting them.

We have a right to be frustrated at this front office's deficiencies.

Hard to believe what I thought I was getting when I bought tickets and what I witnessed tonight.

Yeah, no Cousins, but jeeeezus, I've seen enough of Corbin. This team is rudderless. FO can bite me right now.

GTFO, you think corbin is actually coaching? he probably has an ear piece in his ear with mully/vivek calling plays.

if you didn't see that video of the gerbil spitting out all sorts of excuses of what WE wanna see........ you need to review it. they know what you want to see and your getting it. compelling product is what he coined it as.

Which is why wasting this season might be franchise crippling taking away his coach for no reason and throwing the season away. After this waste of a year we have 2 season to prove to demarcus that we are a good team before his contract season starts and he starts listing his top 5 teams he'd play for. And if we trade for deron williams corpse we are done for.

I disagree with you. I believe it would only be a wasted season for Rudy Gay. He's getting older and he was convinced that this team would be good this year.

I think if we did trade for Deron Williams, we would be a much better team than we are now. If he is healthy, he can be good. I think Cousins needs a good PG to play with. I don't think Collison really cuts it. I have no doubt in my mind that if we had a good or elite PG in our team paired up next to Cousins and Gay, the Kings would be a playoff caliber team.

This should only be a throw away season if one of our stars are injured for the majority of the season.

Who are players you think the Kings should trade for? I think we are good at SF and C, but everything else needs work.

Actually I think I was one of the few people in the thread commenting on THIS GAME. Same goes for you VF21.....we actually watched and discussed this particular game.

That's not to say that bitching and complaining about the direction of the team and all the mistakes the front office is making aren't of merit but a game thread should have some discussion about the actual game. People seem to have a hard time understanding that.

I think people are very frustrated and expressing it the only way they can. All I ask is that people keep it about the game and posts, and not turn on each other.

I may not agree with the "bitching and complaining" but at least people still care. If the front office doesn't do something quickly, however, that could all change. I think I know a lot of these posters well enough to know that we all love the Kings, it's just so blasted frustrating right now because we had a glimmer of hope and they promptly proceeded to pee on it.

Agreed with all you said. It's just a bit crazy when people act like talking about a specific game in the game thread is outside the realm. We can do both at once.

If someone really gets on your nerves, you can always utilize the "IGNORE" feature. The only people it doesn't work on are the moderators. ;)
