If they really want a fast pace offense, the only real coach where I feel would be the best compromise for both fans and management is Rick Adelman. Also a homage to the old Kings.

not mike d'antoni? don nelson? they'll run all day long. lots of 3 pointers, boogie as PG or SF. we also got that secret weapon of a coach in reno. 150 points per game isn't impossible.

Last night my family and I (all kings fans) had a lengthy discussion about the team and we all agreed that the only way to save face is to hire Karl and if Mullin is hired it's in all likelihood a complete disaster.

how long is "always"? Back when the Kings were good, he was a frequent caller to Jim Kozimor and/or Grant Napiers' shows. Dave W from Carmichael. Just another fan.

At some point he made an internet radio show out of his garage kinda like Wayne's World (schwing), finally got his break on 1140 was willing to work with a much lesser talent on a morning show to do it (that really is paying your dues to hang out with that Keith guy for a couple hours a day) - and now he sits courtside and is perceived to have inside info on all things Kings.

In fact, he was sort of a Deep Throat for Kevin Johnson (or some such insider) during the fight to save the Kings.

There really ought to be a movie some day.

A long, long time ago Dave was just a fan who lived in Carmichael and used to call in to Grant's show - a lot. They first said, It's Dave from Carmichael on the line" and eventually shortened it to Carmichael Dave.

Thanks for the history lesson. It's been in the back of my mind since I started following the Kings again back in '09. I never followed the Kings this closely before. For reference I only started High school when Webber was traded lol.

In my younger years, I would do this. I'm not as adventuresome now but I am a child of the 60's where we stuck our necks out for all kinds of issues. Imagine the news this would make. The Kings don't want this kind of publicity.

Have you tried to use ticket master and resell it there? Good luck with that! I bet it would've been easily sold last year and the year before... but the Knicks are a total crap team this year. They were bad last year, but they're worse this year..

Let's do it! I'm gonna walk in with the sign folded up so it doesn't look big. then open it up in the game and see if they say anything. Just gonna see if i get kicked for holding it.
