I think we need to take a deep breath and relax.
1. We still have the same players.
2. We may end up with a really really good coach. Someone who can take this team to yet another level.
3. The future is still bright. Yes, it's called optimism. Try it sometimes.
4. I really, really like Malone but if I have to choose between George Karl or Mike Malone, I'd have to go with Karl. Obviously I say that not knowing if Karl is actually coming on board. If he is, then it'd wipe away this bad taste, at least for me.
5. Malone is going to be fired/let go eventually. I never thought it'd come this soon but it was always obvious that he is a bridge between where the Kings were and where they want to go. The Kings would eventually need a coach like Karl (make it happen PDA) if they are to be serious contender. You can argue that the Kings are not at that level yet but they will need a coach with grativas (like Adelman did) eventually.
6. Mike Malone is NOT the only good coach out there.
7. Cousins and Gay are still here and they aren't going anywhere. So just relax.

On the radio Friday he clearly insinuated that sessions was a great signing and that he still is. Seemed very clear he was suggesting sessions was not being put in a position to succeed.
Basically what we are learning about this FO is that everything that goes well is due to their vision and everything else isn't their fault.

PDA is taking a bow for extending the Cousins contract and getting Gay and Collison. And he's throwing in the arena deal as well. It's just a tough, tough day for PDA. Tough, just tough for him. Didn't think that Malone was the right coach for "phase two." He said it was his decision to fire Malone, not Vivek. It was "endorsement" when he took the job because of coach Malone. He thinks he's going to be a great coach, but philosophically they have to decide where they are going. They have different view of product that he wants to put before the fans. But personally speaking, he just can't say enough. He hopes he has a relationship with him for years to come (GAG ME!). PDA gives full support to Tyrone Corbin. Right now he's standing behind Corbin. He's got 100% support from PDA (THAT IS SO SUPPORTIVE!)

It turns out that I was misinformed: you're not the fire Malone guy, you're the guy who wants to trade half the team for Josh Smith. My bad; you have my unconditional apology on that regard.
