The most basic mindset of a PG is knowing where your guys are, and when you attack the paint to know if help comes, who's man it is, then to kick it to the open guy who's man left him.

To not understand the most basic of PG play is an issue. To compound it, the guy he looked off on back to back possessions is hotter than he's been since 2011.

Apparently nobody got the memo it was time to tank with Gay and Cousins out.
These guys are playing for there careers why would they want to tank they are first and formost conerned about there long term well being than the teams.

He never passed to Thornton during that second stint. Difference in Thornton having 22 first stint and 4 the second stint. 12 attempts 1st. 2 attempts 2nd
We are up by 10 against the best team in the NBA and people are still looking to blame Thomas for something........Thomas/Thornton are the reason we are up something we couldn't do with Cousins and Gay against them.

He took two bad shots and raped Geroge Hill on both ends what more do you want?

Some of you are unbelievable. Reading this thread you'd think we were losing. I'm reading better things about our guys on the freaking Pacers board than some of the comments here. I'm actually glad none of them are coming over here to see what we're saying.

Would AI pass to Eric Snow? Nonsense!

I want a pg that pays attention to the team around him and not his ppg

lol... you watching the game or the stat box? The knock on IT is obvious, his handling of the last 36 seconds shows why he draws criticism.... He's good, and we like it when he plays well, but when he goes into me mode.... well

I don't look at box scores much if ever, ok he had a bad last 36seconds and is leading the team with Thornton to a good lead over Indiana. I'm not sure you can ask much more from your starting PG.

You can always log out and simply discuss the final boxscore later if you like. That works too if the final score is all that's important and the actual game isn't worth discussing in your opinion.

If you're expecting 15 posts which say, "yay, we're winning", you might be on the wrong media platform.

I'm continually amazed at posters here on a forum who have a problem with people discussing what they're watching and what they see.

If the posters here who are involved with grades approached games the way a few here want them to, only discuss the scoreline and act like there's nothing to analyze, then grades would basically be either "wooho, we won" or "damn, we lost, maybe next time". That would be cool.

Who cares..we're up going into the 3rd. Stop acting like you guys can go out there and do better. It would be nice if our point guard will pass a little more but the fact remain he is the best scorer on the floor just that there's a hotter hand right now. Look for our guys to come out aggressive in the 3rd

As nice as the offensive production was in the first half, we pretty much played as well as we could play without Cousins and Gay, and we're still only up ten. And, quiet as it's kept, we still gave up fifty points. I shall endeavor to remain cautiously optimistic.

I don't think I've ever said this before, but I find myself agreeing with andremiller07. We're beating the freaking Pacers and all some (not all) can do is find a reason to dump on IT or Coach Malone or whatever. Criticism is fine but some of this stuff has just gotten out of hand. It's almost like no matter what they do, nothing will ever be good enough. And that's just wrong..

Probably a good plan. The Pacers record is no accident.
