Somebody on Twitter hit up @SacramentoKings, and let them know that G-Man has been misinformed: he keeps saying that the 39-pt win against Miami, back in '89, was the 3rd-largest margin of victory in Sacramento-era history. The previous 3rd-largest margin of victory, prior to tonight, was actually last season, a 42-pt win over Chicago.
Side-note. At least with Ben, we don't question his effort or hustle when he's on the floor. He might not have it figured out yet, but you know he's doing his best.

It keeps going back and forth, but once again I think you can say sayonara to the tank. We are starting to really gel and have a solid rotation, and I can't foresee, at least statistically a top 5 pick. Ofcourse I said this once before and we went on a losing run. The remaining schedule is road heavy but we've already played a tough opposition in terms of winning percentage
Actually he looked like this in college too from time to time. Difference is he now looks like this all the time. And lack of effort was a big question with him, but everybody wrote it off with the idea that he tried to conceal his asthma, but would manage it well in the NBA. Seems it's the exact opposite.
Great defense in the third quarter, won us the game. As bad as Thornton has been on offense, he is playing with energy on the defensive end, which i guess we'll take for now with Couisns, Gay and IT handling the scoring and JT moping up the garbage. I saw great team defense out there, great rotations by everyone forcing the Cavs to take some tough shots. That just shows how important team defense is, as none of our starters would be considered great individual defenders.
The thing is we don't need Ben to be a 20 ppg scorer, it would be great if he can develop into that, but at this point we need a guy that can knock down the open 3, play defense and run the floor. He does have the potential to do that with time, the question is do we wait, or use him to get a player that is ready now?
