That sure was heart attack mode at the end...we need to work on our ability to close out these games without it getting so close in the end...
It might have been heart attack mode, but - for the first time in a long time - I didn't sit here with my head in my hands moaning that we were going to find a way to lose. I think maybe, just maybe, a wee bit of the faith I used to be able to call on for every single game has returned. Thank you Great God Naismith. ;)

Kingster

Hall of Famer
Where is Kingster to explain to us how Isaiah Thomas is in no way, shape, or form, responsible for the 41 points Damian Lillard scored?
You seriously don't watch the game do you? Lillard scored a ton off of players other than IT, either when IT was out of the game, or when they were getting back on fast break situations and there were mismatches. IT had a heckuva game. If you can't appreciate it, then that's your loss.

Lillard puts up big numbers against many point guards. It's why he's one of the best young players in the game.

Thomas has been putting up good numbers against opposing point guards all season. Does that mean nearly every point guard in the league is bad at defense because they can't guard a 5'9" midget?

Me too! With 5 minutes left I was comfortable in thinking we would get the win. As a result reading this thread was making me giggle like a school girl.

Lol its just absolutely never his fault in your eyes is it?
I have to agree with Kingster, even though I think he just insulted me.

Lillard was incredible. Nobody did a good job of guarding him in the 4th, so saying it was all IT's fault is silly. I can be as critical of IT as anyone, but he played a pretty good game tonight IMHO. I sure wish people could get over having to argue from one extreme end of the spectrum to the other.

IT is not the next Tiny Archibald. He is also not the next Quincy Douby.

When it comes to the trades we recently made we got some killer beards as well while replacing John Salmons gross beard.

Top 5 Kings beards atm
1. Quincy Acy via landslide I mean look at it and tell me that's not the most beast beard in the L
2. D-Will not to heavy not to light it's like Kellogs just right
3. Aaron Gray the ginger mountain man look is pretty sweet not very well groomed giving it the x-factor
4. DMC I'm enjoying the extra fur could it have something to do with his play this season?
5. IT: if you look closely you can maybe see 1 hair growing it's a record for him.

Acy when asked by Grant if Gray will beat him in beard growing contest

Watching the Blazer feed of the game as I start working on the next game thread. Pretty sure these dudes need new fact checkers. Only three minutes into the game and they've already claimed Demarcus is one of the worst passing big men in the league and Rudy Gay was shooting better in Toronto than in Sacramento.

According to them JT is also better at shooting the ball than Cousins is. They also compared Mo Williams to Lebron in an unironic fashion.

Hey, it's a post-modern world! Everybody has the right to their own facts.

Blazer announcers are just awful. If you don't listen to what they are saying, they are well spoken and articulate. But it stops there.
