Yeah, in the first place Jimmer was playing for help. There aren't many players who can stay suddenly switch to stay in front of their man when they're expecting to funnel him into the team D.

It's the strategy, and not a too uncommon one at that. Send the corner man baseline as the baseline acts as a defender.

Jimmer just did it again and Cuz quickly slid over to help.

The issue was MT frankly being an idiot, having his back completely turned to the ball when if he did see the ball he could have quickly slid over and cut off the lane to the basket. I mean, what can you do when the help defender isn't even concerned with tracking the freakin ball?

This is kinda what I hoped for with Jimmer in the starting line up (allowing IT to be the 6th man). He's getting great open looks playing off Gay and Cousins, just not hitting the shots thus far.

Not everybody on a team can be a star. He's doing an adequate job and it's giving IT a break. With the roster we currently have, we cannot ask much more than that.
