Kings vs Raptors - Summer League Game 3

#95
if this game stays close its actually kind of sad for Toronto considering the lack of talent on the Kings team and the fact that a few of these guys on the Raptor team are actually in the Raptors rotation

But he can pass, run an offense, play unselfishly and make others around him better, something Evans never really grasped. Yes its a drop in talent but if it makes us more of a team then I am all for it. Suffering through the selfish dysfunctional play of the last few years I welcome someone like Grevais. The thing I keep getting back to is if Reke is so good why did he wind up in New Orleans. OKC has a huge hole at SG but they had no interest, Dallas took Montae Ellis for gods sake with out even looking in his direction. There is a reason that winning teams did not make him any offers.
Well most of those good teams didn't have cap space and the ones that did were still hanging on to hope they could get Howard.

And again with the selfish play argument from people? Reke wasn't "selfish" enough last year because too many less talented teammates were. Honestly, I can't wait for the regular season starts so we can finally put this "true PGs are necessary for a team to be good" argument to bed.

Because winning teams usually are maxed out in salaries so they couldn't afford what he was gonna get in the open market. Plus, offense wasn't our problem, silly. Watch Vasquez get obliterated on defense. Why do you think NOLA wanted to replace him after his "great" season.

A very convenient argument but if a 23 year old "stud" comes on the market someone would have tried to make cap space for him. Interest was low, he is just not thought of as a winning player around the league. He has the ability to change that but may not have the head. And I dont think that Reke is selfish as much as he just does not know how to play good team ball. His whole life has been give him the ball and clear out, dont learn much that way.

I don't want to make this yet another Reke argument but Vasquez isn't a winner either. If we are trading "losers" I'll go with the far more talented, two way and grossly misused one.

Doesn't matter either way.

How many wins did the Greivas Vasquez led Pelicans win last year?

can everyone stop panicking and calling McLemore a bust now? he's 20 years old guys. and he is playing his first few "pro" games. playing on a team a 90% bad players so he has WAY more responsibilities and focus from the defense than he will in the NBA
