Just seven months after they waived him, the Houston Rockets reacquired Jeremy Lin. The Rockets and their fans hope that Lin's play in Houston will create the same type of Linsanity that shocked the world when he was a member of the New York Knicks last season. At a cost of $25 million over the next three years, Houston will need Lin to play at a level close to the one he exhibited over the six mesmerizing weeks of Linsanity to justify that sort of investment in a player whom (at just a tiny fraction of the new cost) they had deemed expendable just months earlier.
