The Portland Trail Blazers played another ugly game on March 1, falling at home to the Houston Rockets. Though it seemed like the Blazers were hanging around quite well at the beginning of this one, they ended up getting outscored in every quarter. The 103-87 loss wasn't as close as the score might indicate, but the 58% clip that the Rockets shot is surely the statistic to focus on in this embarrassment. What Portland really needed was to rebound from their Sunday loss to the Atlanta Hawks and show that they could defend the home court.
