As the dust settles from the 2013 NBA Draft, the season of trade speculation is officially upon us. The adherence to "the best player available" draft philosophy invariably results in an assortment of roster logjams. The Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Pelicans find themselves in just such a predicament. The Kings have a surplus of shooting guards, while the Pelicans have issues at the point. These two teams are in an ideal position to swap.

This is a very lazy article by the Yahoo! author, but I'll bite. Presuming the Kings do pursue Vazquez, I have a hard time seeing how it matches, salary-wise. He only makes about 2M per year and NOH would likely want size, defense, or a backup guard in return. We don't exactly have size and defense to spare, so that leaves guards. If we throw in Lopez and offer 'Reke, maybe something starts a conversation. But I can't see anything else otherwise- also, Eric Gordon is signed to a monster contract at the 2, so where would Tyreke go?

No, the only deal I could see would involve DMC, and I want no part of that. That deal, presumably, would be DMC for Lopez and Vazquez or something, and I don't want it. Now if the Pelicans want to throw in Anderson and start talking, maybe. Otherwise....

Here is the author, I bolded the important part for you: By Doug Brockwell | Yahoo! Contributor Network

Just a guy who writes stuff and posts it on Yahoo. No better than any of the trade ideas come up by random fans. Want some more from Mr. Brockwell? Here is his thoughts on how to turn the Kings into a playoff team - "Step 1. Trade DeMarcus Cousins to the Milwaukee Bucks for Larry Sanders and two first round picks."

Step 2. Overpay for Jeff Teague.

Was he a Sonics fan? Honestly, that's the only explanation I can come up with. That, or he is on some student exchange program from a high school newspaper.

I think it's funny that everyone BUT Kings fans want Demarcus out of Sacramento. Can't wait to see them in a few years with Demarcus as an all-star in Sacramento.
