Yup, first it was him thinking he can help the team more in a starters role (Because all true baseball fans know 5 runs in 3.2 innings would help anyone win!), but now he's complaining about his recent placment on the DL...

I really dont see where Rueter is coming from...I really want to know if this is him just being stubborn, or if he honestly believes his near-6 ERA would help anyone?

A sad end to his career in SF, unfortunatly, is looking like a distinct possibility.

Man, I love Woody. I remember being at a game, at Candlestick, in '97 I think, where he pitched against the Dodgers late in the season, a HUGE game, a game the Giants won 2-1 on a Bonds homer. (the homer where Bonds did a 360 out of the batters box after the ball went sailing) Roberto Hernandez saved that game.

But now... Woody's pitching is just garbage. Sad.

so sad to see his giants career end this way. i'm sure the giants are looking at every possible way to trade him, but no one wants him. rueter, get it through you head, NO ONE WANTS YOU. YOU ARE DONE. since you keep on sucking, and for some odd reason you think that you should be starting even though you keep on sucking, the kids are getting a chance.

it's over
