I don't much about the specifics of this event, but it appears to be relatively open to the public (who know about it), but coach Boucek and Ruthie will be appearing on the cover of a women's fitness magazine and they will be appearing at a launch party to celebrate the magazine's release.

WHEN: Saturday, November 10, 2007
WHERE: The L Lounge, 1801 L Street (Corner of L & 18th)
TIME: 7pm - 10pm
ATTIRE: Dress Warm - Event Outdoors
Come early to meet our cover girls Ruthie Bolton, Sandra Augustine and Jenny Boucek, with special guest appearances from the Monarchs.
Paid subscribers will receive a complimentary gift bag upon arrival filled with cool & healthy goodies.
If you are interested in becoming a subscriber you my sign up on Saturday and will receive an AOW Magazine dry fit running hat while supplies last.

Count me in MBF sounds like fun.
I enjoyed the launch party for the ''FLAVOR'' magazine.
Let me know what time you plan to go. I work untill 4:30-5pm.
 
I won't be able to attend, but have a good time anyway!

BTW, NBH mentioned "Flavor" magazine, referencing the time when Ticha, Yo, and Nicole appeared on the cover of its debut issue. And I was wondering whatever happened to "Flavor"? I was hoping to find out what the reader reaction would've been, since there was some discussion in the local media about that cover.

Was there a second edition? :confused:
 
Thats a good question Steven. I looked for it on the shelves & never saw another issue? Maybe it was by subsciption only.
Hope this womens fitness mag. has a longer shelf life...still need to get a copy with Coach & Ruthie , a very nice cover.

I agree about Ruthie and Coach Boucek on the cover. But who is this Sandra Augustine? Is she an employee of MS&E?
