Will Smith says that he thinks that Hitler thought he was doing the right thing, even though his logic was backward and twisted, that he didn't wake up in the morning and set out to be the most evil person in the world ... and the media jumps all over him for it.

WTF is wrong with people? This is politically correctness taken way too far. It's almost like no one can ever say anything genuine or thoughtful anymore without their words being psycho-analyzed and twisted and then blown way out of proportion.
I hate celebrity gossip and entertainment media, for the most part, and this is the reason why. And when a news station decides to report on the story, they don't even have the decency to back the man up by saying that he wasn't saying that everyone has good in them, that he wasn't saying Hitler did good or was a good person. They jump on him also!
