Who Has Been The Most Clutch This Season?

For this season alone, I'd have to go with Bibby. He's continually came through this year (as he has in years past) in the closing minutes of games and hit 2 dramatic game winners against the Grizzlies and the Clippers.

1. Bibby
2. Wade
3. Kobe
4. Gordon
5. KG

i agree with that...only i haven't seen KG hit any clutch shots...but then again its prolly cuz i rather scoop my eyeballs out with a wooden spoon then watch a TWolves game (not including the ones against the Kings ofcourse)

I love Bibby and all but Gordon takes over games in the 4th Q and he hits big shots... Bibby would be either tied with him or right below him.

According to http://www.82games.com, it's Manu Ginobli, followed by Amare, Nash, Wade, and Nowitzki. In fact, Bibby isn't even in the Top 50, which is asinine.

can't be true. the spurs have fewer chances than the kings (or other teams) to perform in the clutch because they have a lot of blowouts.

in the nba.com crunch time stats, webber, brad and mike were in there (i think in the top 15). i don't think i even saw manu's name.

i don't know how they got to the conclusion that manu's the best clutch player. that's kinda ridiculous.

Let's see how clutch Manu is when TD is not around. Oh wait, they couldn't even win a game yet!.. Also, Wade would be a very good player w/o Shaq, but not a clutch player or a star (yet).

Having said that, I think Gordon is the most clutch player. I have seen the guy taking the 4th quarter over several times. To me, he is one of the biggest reasons why Bulls is successful.

Hands down Gordon if you dont know you betta ask somebody! bibby comes in second than wade

I'm almost starting to think I'm on a Bulls board here :). Sorry, but I can't take the rook ahead of Bibby. Plus, we all know Bibby can do it in the playoffs, let's see what Gordon does when it really becomes crunch time.

my order:
1. Ben Gordon (as is being said
2. T-Mac(that 35 sec thing pushes him ahead of #3)
3. Bibby
4. D-Wade
5. Manu Ginobli(il take 82games word for it and put him here

no kobe because hes done much better in previous years...altho he could jump up if he a)gets the lakers into the playoffs and/or b) does what he did the last 2-3 games last reg season with last sec incredible winning shots

i agree with what Team Dime said (though i have no doubts that kid can be clutch in the POs...but Bibby is still ahead of Ben)

Going with Tmac b/c of one game? What about what Bibby has done in back to back nights? I'll admit that I should've put TMac in the list, but not ahead of Mr. Clutch himself. Manu still hasn't hit anywhere near the amount of clutch shots this year as Kobe. Finally, let's leave Gordon with the Rookie of the Year award and give the award for best clutch player to the guy who truly deserves it in #10. :)

Well, as far as what 82games.com says, they explain how they came to the conclusion of Manu as #1, and it takes into consideration offense and defense, rebounds, FTs, FG%, all kinds of things, to come with something more like the all-around clutch player. I still ain't sold on it, though.

Bibby has to be considered one of the Top 3 clutch shooters this season, for sure.

I guess I'm alittle more old school in that respect. When I think of a clutch player, the first thing that comes to my mind is their ability to hit clutch shots to win games. I've seen Bibby do it multiple times, while I can't really say the same for Manu.

you have to admit 13 points in 35 seconds isnt a walk in the park! i think that definetely deserves recognition........
