What would it take to get Calderon?

Toronto has such a good point guard but they are letting him rot on the bench behind Ford. It's not that Ford is a bad player, but Calderon is simply better. He reminds me a lot of Steve Nash watching him play. 174 assists this year to 29 turnovers.:eek:

With Calderon starting the Raptors are 6-3 (1-2 road 5-1 home)
Without Calderon starting the Raptors are 7-7 (4-3 road 3-4 home)

Calderon averages 12.1ppg 10.1apg 3.4rpg starting.

Have been watching a lot of Toronto basketball this year just to get a glimpse of this kid. Only downside is that he's 26.. But who knows. He's not overly athletic so he could have a good 5-7 years left in him.

He's an absolutely mind boggling point guard. I've personally never seen him play, but his statistics are through the roof. Racks up many assists per minute without turning the ball over. He must really, really know his teammates well, or simply have an assortment of passing tricks and/or ballhandling skills in his arsenal.
