What type of team will this be?

I still think this team doesn't know it's identity and it has the players confused. We know from past that this was a gifted passing and cutting team. Now they need to re-define if they are going to be an ISO team, a inside-out team or whatever kind of team. I figure the question should be answered around the 20 game point of the season at which I'm predicting us being 10-10. Any thoughts .....

Our biggest issue, I would say is that we need to start focusing on execution in the half-court sets.

The reason, is as you have stated - we don't know what type of team we are.

When structured guys start playing one on one basketball it is usually indicative of not trusting anyone else and trying to do too much because of it.

I'm seeing Bibby and Peja do a lot of this one on one style of play - which has never been their strong suit or something they've relied on.

One thing that makes me question whether or not RA has changed the style though is that after every stoppage of play or any time the coach talks to the team, we make a concerted effort to get the ball into the post. So the conclusion I draw is that either Peja and Bibby aren't adapting to the new style of play set forth by RA or they don't trust the new faces to play the old style.

My guess as to the outcome of it all - the Kings will adapt to a slower paced team. The reason? It's like the professor on an island trying to communicate to a monkey. If they are going to talk - the professor will have to slow down for the monkey instead of the monkey speeding up for the professor.

I agree that maybe the play of Bibby and Pedja is mentality of playing with Webber, Divac, Christie ,etc... and now trying to re-shape the way the Kings are put together as a team we find our team identity changing.
