What the H*** Happened?

So, I thought this game against the Mystics was supposed to be a cake walk. Why can't the Monarchs win the easy games?

This was the time for the M's to surge forward. Do they have to wait until their backs are against the wall...again?

Yes. They seem to prefer it that way.

The Mystics came out very focused and AGRESSIVE. The Monarchs did not seem to play with much intensity, or only for very short spurts. I think they under-estimated the Mystics, especially since Chamique was absent. And of course Alana Beard had a great all around game.

The Monarchs are still passing quite alot. Kara and Edna were both open numerous times, but instead opted to pass...sheez... Also the Mystics were clogging the lane and there were several bad passes and bobbling of the ball in the paint. Rebekkah did really well, and I'd like to see her in a little more.

So.....if they're really hungry for any playoff hopes they need to "Suck it up and play"......IMO...
