What kind of offensive system should we expect from Malone?

I'm that guy that just follows the ball w/ little knowledge of what else is going on. Can someone give me a rundown of what we should expect to see in his system?

P.S. if anyone knows of a good book that might help me understand the x's and o's of basketball, a kind of technical guide, that would be much appreciated!

Actually I already noticed more creativity to the offense. An example was a little play for Vasquez, with him starting down on the block, then curling up into the paint below the free line, where he receive the pass and was fouled on a shot.

These kinds of random unusual plays work well, because nobody's really expecting it and it keeps our players interested with creativity. Rick Adelman used to run all kinds of plays like this and his players loved him for it. That's why a player like Stojakovic was completely different when he played for the kings..Adelman knew how to use him to the max

Who knows? It depends on how he sees the roster. But one thing Malone has been a big proponent of is setting solid screens.

Based on only a few games, , continue to push on the break, pick and roll, inside/outside, drive and dish, and pass the ball faster than the defense can react. It all looks like fundamental basketball, but it is sound.

The biggest difference will be on defense. The Kings already are better at defending the opponents fast break, and defending the paint, the two glaring weaknesses of the team. They are very aggressive about protecting the baseline, often relying on double teams to do it. The changes on defense will determine how fast this team can improve, their number of wins, and how long it takes to get to the playoffs. I still wish for a big defensive shotblocker. I watched N'Djaiye at the U of W. I still miss Dalembert.
