Basically every team has a third-string PG and the reason is what we've seen here in the past week or two - if you only have two PGs and one of them gets injured, you're scrambling. I have no doubt at all we would have been perfectly happy to hold on to Jimmer and keep him as our third-string PG (one who knew the system Malone was running) for the remainder. But Jimmer didn't want that and he requested an opportunity to find more minutes. We had to forgo having a third-string PG in order to help Jimmer try to find minutes elsewhere. That's a favor, through and through.
