...and Action!
Chris Webber recently took part in an NBA commercial, filmed at Gavin Maloof's house in Sacramento, promoting an upcoming game with the Dallas Mavericks. Kings.com was on site to take in all the action and managed to snap a few pictures.

pics at kings.com.. :)

^^ i wasn't gonna post it, too.. but it's such a boring night tonight cause the kings aren't playing, so i just decided to post it anyways.. ;)

Okay, I think we've determined that iheartBrad was going to post it and didn't AND that LMM did post it but originally wasn't going to post it.

I had no idea it could get this boring on this board DURING the season.

;)

Um, I'm almost scared to ask, but what's with the Llama? and why are the balloons on the table in the back Mavs colors?

Never be afraid to ask "Hey whats the Llama for? You don't want to find out the hard way!

Llamas can spit with pin-point accuracy. Perhaps the llama is going to pop the balloons of the dreaded Mavericks with ... um ... phlegmy projectiles?

;)

Yep nasty critters. Becoming popular for use as pack animals for yuppie skum hiking in to remote wilderness resorts like Muir Trail Ranch and Bear Paw. Hate it when I have to pass them backpacking, on took a good size bite out of a fairly new pack...

Is this what was happening? I thought Gavin was throwing some bachelor party or a Welcome party for Cuttino....Seriously though! When I saw the baloons and the trailer for the 2 llamas, I was thinking WTF?!?!?! Some things I saw were and a white truck with tons of party goods.
People weren't restricted from being like 80 feet from the house so I was thinking it was some huge party or a welcoming for Cuttino. Not some commercial going on an NBA broadcast...

Darn...there goes my chance on being on National TV. ;)

On a side note: Thank God the houses in Natomas are like 10 feet tall, otherwise Chris would have to bend down like Hedo did for those Taco Bell Commericals.

Kings.com might be bored too.

I don't see them post these kind of pics at their site. How come no pics when Vlade and Pedja did that one Auto commerical? :D

I wonder what this Webber commerical is all about. I hope they air it soon.

That commerical was for the Folsom Automall, this one's for the Kings vs the Mavs ;)

Yeah, I know that. But if these Webb pics are up, how come in the past, no pics of Vlade and Pedja? Not that it's a big deal. :D

*sigh* Very boring night.

Those were simply awful photos. I would not have posted those photos on KingsFans.com, much less a commercial site like Kings.com. The photographer apparently has little or no visual perspective. I wonder why they were posted? Don't they have a graphics editor?

Ahhh ha!

Rupe da Hoop must be the new managing editor for the Kings.com web site.

Was this too harsh?

You're right! I want my 1-1/2 minutes back.

What I remember about the pics: 14 wheel truck and motor home (probably a "dressing room", jeez), camera & lighting equipment - btw, Gavin's house is very stiff looking, I've seen it before when Joe & Gavin were showing off their new LCD T.V.s - a man's hand with some weird looking fingers; Web looking very candid and lost, a stupid head on shot of a dumb llama; about 15 pizzas carried by pizza delivery.

Very, ahem, memorable scroll down commercial lane...

I actually have been just down the street from Gavins house. It's right in West Sac not far from Arco. Nice gated community. An old friend lives on the same street.

It's a nice community, pretty quiet, it's rare that you see people that stop by there to go "OMG You're Gavin Maloof!" Bibby lives a couple blocks down, and suprisingly the Bibby stalkers haven't hit there much ;) When he bought the house a couple years back, it was only $320K, the estimated value of those houses now: $620K...It's crazy how a 2 story house with a Lake as your backyard can go for that much.
