He looked pretty bad. I'm thinkIng another 10-14 days.

Brace yourselves. This season is swirling down the toilet fast right now.

I'd be mystified if it was another 2 weeks before he played, that would be one heck of a virus.
Are you a doctor? I am not either. : ) I assume doctors wrote this. http://www.humanillnesses.com/original/U-Z/Viral-Infections.html

"How Long Do Viral Infections Last?
In most types of viral infection, the immune system clears the virus from the body within days to a few weeks. But some viruses cause persistent or latent * infections, which can last for years. In these cases, a person may get infected and seem to recover or may not be aware of being infected at all. Then years later, the illness will occur again, or symptoms will start for the first time."

He has a serious viral infection. That means recovery time is a complete mystery. The guy I saw struggling to keep his eyes open behind the bench just doesn't look like a guy ready to play an NBA game. Obviously I'm speculating, but I think another 10-14 days till he's anywhere near 100%. He may play before then, but I'd be really surprised if he's the Boogie we saw earlier this season anytime soon.

Instead it appears we will be well under .500 when he returns.

And we might lose the Lakers on NBATV tuesday and then get demolished on TNT thursday against the Rockets

:(

It's been confirmed that Boogie has viral meningitis. For that reason I'm closing this thread in favor of the ongoing Boogie health thread.
