[WAS/LAL] Arenas joins 60-pt club

Wow! Lakers came back to tie the score after training by double digits with under 2 minutes left in the game. Overtime. Radmanovic has arrived!!!

Arenas with a career-high 52 pts (and counting), as the Wizards try to hold off the Lakers in overtime.

What may be telling, however, is the fact that he's missed six free throws in the last five minutes and overtime; he was perfect from the line prior to that.

EDIT - Fifty-five now; first Wizard to score 50+ since Michael Jordan.

Fifty-eight points now; breaks Earl Monroe's record (also set in an overtime game against the Lakers) for most points scored in franchise history.

Complimented by eight rebounds, eight assists, and two steals.

Well, considering that we play them on Thursdays - that isn't good news

Of course it is, piksi. Arenas (and all the Washington players) just got most of this weeks point allotment against the Lakers. What is not to love.? :p

By Thursday, they'll only have about 82 pts left of their weekly allotment.;)

I think that Bibby can limit him to 75

I included playoffs (should have mentioned that)

Apparently, that whoosing noise was the sound of the slightly sarcastic, humorous intent of my post going right over your head.

Sorry... I'll try to make it clearer next time.

;)

call me crazy, but seeing some of the scores of late, maybe the ball those mad scientists designed is not that bad after all...
