Eh none of Curry, Butler, & Green are under contract for the 2027-28 season. An unprotected 2028 1st could be pretty darn valuable. Not to mention I like Moody more than most and he’s still 2 years younger than Ellis and locked up for the next 3 years on a pretty reasonable deal.

If Kuminga agrees to $10 mil/year, it works

But you could also add players to Ellis to bump up the salary thus allowing Kuminga to sign an offer sheet at a higher amount.

I’ve always thought Kuminga seemed talented on offense. Have no idea about his defense.

But isn’t the knock on him that he is a selfish teammate and player?

I think I would much rather keep Keon. I actually think Keon has more in the tank offensively than what we’ve seen so far and will continue to improve.

I won’t even know what to think if we trade away one of our only players that plays defense…
