Thibs. The obvious Scott Perry connection and the success those 2 had in NYK and I truly think in order to keep Vivek out of the way, you need someone with the stature of a Thibs to be in here running the show. People have made the argument that Perry/Vivek are controlling Doug's decision making... that's not happening with Thibs
I think he’s the logical guy but as I said before he’s not considering this until you clean house and get one of the top 5 picks

Are we seriously glazing Jordi Fernandez?!? I could care less for this season knowing it would be a throwaway (and when Perry said as much, I obliged and did not renew League Pass for the first time since the days of Jason Thompson and Sean May). But nothing Jordi has done is worth mentioning. Aside from somehow getting Canada to not medal in the last Olympics
The Nets got hot in December and the league sang the dude’s praises nonstop only for the Nets to go back to being terrible the second the ball dropped in Time Square. I still think Jordy is a good coach but it’s starting to look like the man won’t be around in Brooklyn by the time they’re good again.

Nothing to love about Dan Hurley. He is a psychopath who would never have the respect of NBA players.
Yeah. Definitely a Knight-style tiny tyrant college coach. Same reason guys like Pitino and Calipari never worked out in the NBA. Kelvin Sampson has enough leeway that I think he could probably find a way to be a great NBA coach but he also has a good thing going in Houston and he’s older than the hills.

The players don’t say he is. Haven’t heard a single player say a bad thing about him. And he doesn’t lose a whole lot of players to the portal. Interesting that he has a fair amount of juniors and seniors on his team if they think he’s a tyrant and other schools are waving half a mil at that. But yeah the refs hate him.

That said, he’s not realistic. Chris Quinn has no affiliation with the Kings but he would be my #1 target for an assistant looking to get a HC job. He’s been the architect behind them going from the slowest pace last season to the fastest. He’s been a player in the league too and has that credibility some of these other coaches don’t
