I can't remember the last time I felt *any* kind of vector for this team. I cannot believe how differently I feel about the Kings now vs. during the "basketball hell" that preceded Karl's hire. To have a head coach who is able to clearly and credibly articulate, through actions and words, what success looks like on the court, is impressive. To have actions being immediately taken to realize that vision is even more impressive. I'm a jaded, long-time Kings' fan, so "optim_sm" isn't fully in my vocabulary, but, I just finished adding "hope."

What I'm really looking for now is a "leak" that Vivek has learned his lesson and is curbing his meddlesome tendencies.

Yeah, local NBC affiliate.

I hope I'm wrong and I don't know the details on how they plan to run this system but if they run Cousins like a traditional big in the dribble drive as defined by some of what I've seen then this is going to be a bad, bad fit.

No this is a perfect fit for Cousins. It takes advantage of all his skills.

I am with jdbraver. The dribble drive has been successful more often with smaller bigs only because they were generally better ball handlers than their opponents. With his great hands AND quick moves Boogie should thrive in this system.

I am still going to wait to see how this is implemented. Some elements would be useful, but full adoption might be a bad idea, considering most of the team can't hit the ocean by throwing DWill off the boat.

Depends on his role. Like I said, the traditional big role is as a finisher rather than a creator. Cousins isn't typically a great finisher unless he's creating the shot. Cousins can dunk but a guard getting him a shot at the rim for him as a dunker, if that's the plan, which it may not be, isn't his strength as a player.
