Looked worse with the baggy modern jerseys that hung over like muffin tops. That was Nov 2007, pre-Gasol, and even before they had any clue that they were contenders at all. I was one of the few of us at the time who were pissed that they would be in a whimsical mood on the day they were facing Boston for the first time since they got Garnett. They got a beating and went back to the long shorts at halftime. They came out with more anger and frustration in the 2nd half, with Odom flagrantly fouling Allen at the end, iirc. Posey said afterwards that instead of taking the game seriously, they looked like a bunch of damn fools. Had to agree w/ the punk.

Now I think it's safe to say that the boyz know how to view the Celts...with nothing but disdain.
