The NBA suspended Sacramento Kings center Demarcus Cousins one game without pay and fined him $20 thousand for separate incidents involving in Tuesday's game between the Rockets and Kings. Cousins was suspended for one game for punching Patrick Beverley in the stomach as he ran across the lane early in the first quarter. Beverley takes the punch, and grabs his stomach as he approached the sideline, but neither the referees nor the broadcast crew saw the hit as it happened. Cousins was thrown out of the game after confronting referees during a timeout in the third quarter of the game.
