I noticed that another new member has asked a question we get at least 4 to 6 times a year. It got me thinking about how when someone new comes here they often ask questions that are very common but don't have answers readily available. So I thought I'd start this thread...

1. Do Kings players/coaches/etc. visit this site?

A. Most likely. We have had pretenders use player names, but we've also heard from a variety of sources that sometimes the players themselves read the threads. They very RARELY actually participate but they're curious... We know for a fact that some of their family are members but we try to respect their privacy.

2. How do I get a bigger avatar and/or the title under my name?

A. VF21 isn't a dude, she's a dudette. She's a rabid Kings fan who lives in the middle of a national forest. She has way too much time on her hands and spends way too much time talking about her favorite NBA team. Her nickname is short for "Vladefan21" - when Vlade left the Kings she shortened the name.

here this whole time i thought "vf" stood for volunteer firefighter. now i realize that 21 is vlade's number and i'm an idiot. sorry, but i've only been a member for a few months. anyway, it's neat to know that the players read up. i love this website!! thanks to everyone that make it happen!!

Of course I'm still a fan of Vlade's, but I'm also a KINGS fan and it just didn't feel right to have the name of a Laker as part of my public persona - at least not blatantly.

I have admired Vlade Divac since he first came into the league. He brought something new, something fun and something very special - and he still does that today.
