Veteran leadership...

I think also a leader has to be fearless. He's got to be able to get into someone's grill and tell them he's not doing the job and to step it up. He can't be so concerned with being liked. He has to be much more concerned with winning and to hell with the popularity contest. Garnett is an excellent example in that regard.
Donte Greene sure won't be the leader. I think he just wants to be liked.

I would imagine this is a reference to Noc's roughhouse style, and presumably would stem from him being physical with Reke in practice.

Thats kinda what I got too.....some sort of flare up when they were practicing. I just like how everyone is talking about Reke's passivity and then this pops up, that he is no punk that you can just push around.

Off the bench the obvious (to me) leader is Cisco but........ Noce? nope. Beno? nope. Omri? nope. who then? Beats me. I'm going to wait and see who does what and how they each contribute then revisit this topic in Jan-Feb.

Im waiting for that dream trade. A trade sort of similar to Mitch Richmound for Chris Webber deal, where everything fell in place. If history repeats itself, Kevin is in Petries bag of tricksp- look for him to get replaced. Replaced for a veteran leader.

I'm sorry but I'm not gonna buy into anything solely because Sam Amick tweeted it... people need to remember he's not reporting facts, he's reporting opinions and a lot of people find very little to agree with in most of his assessments of the Kings.

Vf are you trying to say opinions are like......and everybody has one?;)

If I were to consider an opinion over another it would be Amicks considering he actually does hang around the team and does know more then us fans.

You're entitled to your opinion. Quite frankly, the team is not going to be totally open with a big-mouth reporter in the immediate vicinity. He's stung them in the past...

More than a leader i think this team needs a veteran coach who can put some of the kids on track to prevent them to be Cancers.

Actually, players should show Nocioni's attitude on games before saying they are tired of him bullying them. If a vet guy, who is known for being competitive both here and in international basketball is being questioned by me-first players and new rookies, then the coach is absent.

The leader has to emerge by itself but also because the coach calls-up how the leader should be. If the coach doesn't. Then the leader that shall emerge won't be a figure of stregnth and competitiveness but a likeable figure that doesn't mess with anybody and scores a lot for himself no matter the outcome.

I think that Nocioni is a savvy player, he has won at many levels, and if we allow the team to be "bothered" because he plays hard on practices... oh baby... we are up to a loooong awfull run.
