Midway through the 2nd quarter, and VC has 14 points to lead the Nets, and he's taken twice as many shots as any other Net player to this point.

Nets leading Pistons by 9 at this point as well.

And more class by the Auburn Hills crowd as they cheered when Billups took Jefferson's legs out from under him while he was in the air on a breakaway. Billups drew the flagrant 1 and Elden Campbell, who isn't even suited up tonight, drew a T for his comments about the event.

its only his first game, he still has more than half the season to prove to his new team that he's a softie...

Like sitting out the over-time with leg cramps no doubt brought on by actually exerting himself for the first time in several seasons wouldn't do it;)
