I guess some fans in Houston are happy, I can only imagine many are very dissapointed. I agree 6th...he was a classy coach.

I remember when we beat Houston, before going on to win the Championship...Van C. was very gracious towards the fans.
He walked around & shook our hands...& as always threw candy our way!

I will miss him. He gave the Wnba many great years of coaching.
Best of luck to Coach C. & thanks for the memories.

Sounds like Van did not leave under the best circumstances and would be open to coaching again. He says in his press conference, ``It was the best time for me to step aside,'' Chancellor said. ``Let new ownership do what they want with the team.'' He also said, he wasn't retiring, but would take three to four months to decide what he wanted to do next. ``I just wanted to see about going in another direction in my life,'' Chancellor said. ``There comes a time when you have to decide about other things - about your family, about your wife, about your children.''
