Here's the latest former Monarch player in my ongoing research for updates: Tajama Abraham, who was married in 2003, and is now known as Tajama Ngongba.
Tajama was a member of the original 1997 Monarchs team, and later played the 1998 season for the then-new Detroit Shock expansion team.
She later was on the coaching staff of the U.S. Virgin Islands' Women's Junior National Team in 2001. Afterwards, she became an assistant coach for the women's teams at the University of Richmond for one year, and Virginia Commonwealth University for two years.
She is now starting her second year as an assistant coach & recruiting coordinator on the women's b-ball team at her alma mater, George Washington University. She also served as an administrative assistant at GWU from 1999-2001.
